Free Dental Awareness Camp for Visually Impaired Students – Karimnagar
Vasans Dental Care organized a free Dental checkup camp for students at a Govt. Residential School For Visually Handicapped.
This camp was conducted to improve dental health and create awareness about oral hygiene among students.
Helping Students with Care
The dental team visited the school with kindness and dedication. Many students do not get regular dental checkups, so this camp was very helpful for them. The doctors checked each student one by one. They made sure every child felt safe and comfortable during the checkup.

- Dr. Srikanth Yadav (MDS) – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery
- Dr. Surya Reddy (MDS) – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Dr. Swetha (BDS) – Associate Dental Surgeon
The team worked together to provide quality dental care and identify problems early.

The camp was well organized with the support of Mr.Srinivas & Mr.Ramesh , who handle Technical team.
The School Principal Mr. Nandyala Bhaskar garu, Teachers, and Staffs also supported the students and helped the dental team during the camp.
Importance of Dental Health Dental health is very important for overall health. Poor oral hygiene can cause pain, infection, and other problems. This camp helped students understand why caring for teeth is important and how daily habits can keep them healthy.
Problems Found During Checkup
During the checkup, doctors found common dental problems such as:
- Tooth decay
- Gum infections
- Bad breath
- Yellow or unclean teeth
These problems are mainly caused by not cleaning teeth properly.
Instructions Given by Doctors
- Brushing twice daily
- Use a clean toothbrush
- Brush gently and properly
- Rinse mouth after eating
These habits can prevent many dental issues
Special Care for Students Since the students are visually impaired, the doctors gave extra attention and clear guidance so they can follow the steps easily in daily life.
Free Service for the Community
All services in this camp were completely free. This is part of the social service by Vasans Dental Care to help the community.
